First Periodic Convention

Spring Equinox

AN C

2004ev

Held:  April 1, 2 & 3, 2004ev AN C

Newark, NJ  U.S.A.

Scheduled Attendees of the G.E.C.

Runar Karlsen - Lineal Head, Rector T.E.G.A.

Paul Joseph Rovelli - Rector G.C.L.

Paul David Thomas - Rector C.T.G.

Preamble to the Agenda

The Grand Ecumenical Council (G.E.C.) is formulated by the various Rectors of the member churches of the A.M.H.R.  Each Rector is the senior member of the local Council of Elders (C.O.E.), serving as a representative to the A.M.H.R.  The C.O.E. in each church is comprised solely of ordained clergy, initiated into its local lodge of the Archidoxical Order of Magi (A.O.M.).

It has been determined that all resolutions of the G.E.C. will only be made for integral issues important to the A.M.H.R. as an umbrella and in accord with its own agenda.  Each church while holding in common the central rituals of the Gnostic Church of L.V.X. (G.C.L.), may develop their own additional programs in accord with the regional culture wherein it presides and in considering the natural tendencies of the community formed by it.

The Agenda items were discussed as follows...

1. Decision on the production of an Electromagnetic Field and Wave Generator

The G.E.C. came to no decision on the first agenda item; due to lack of information.  Questions were raised as to its viability and the feasibility of completing such a product.  The Rector of the Church of Thelemic Gnosticism (C.T.G.) has agreed to produce a fact-finding study and advise the G.E.C. upon completion.

2.  Decision on whether or not to proceed with creation of ORMUS Study

The G.E.C. deems it a worthy goal to pursue a project dedicated to a re-constituting of the 'Ark of the Covenant' (as discussed in the ORMUS research) along the lines of the ancient Egyptian science as known also to the Israelites.  This will serve as a central talisman for the A.M.H.R. as an organization.  The Rector of the G.C.L. has agreed to pursue technical research towards this end.

3. Consensus Resolutions on development of the Society of Churches

The G.E.C. has devised the beginnings of an official curriculum in order to foster a common paradigm upon which its members may more readily build their association for one another.  To this end, the Breviary of the G.C.L. is the foundation.  In addition to this, significant works may be added that support the development of those ideas fitting in with the agenda of the A.M.H.R.  Two items were readily appended to this list:  The Alchemy Key by Stuart Nettleton (in support of the ORMUS project) and The Emerald Tablet of Thoth the Atlantean, an anonymous manuscript with unique scientific hints that holds the potential for revealing a potentially powerful and ancient technology.

4. Official Commentaries on issues pertinent to the Order

The G.E.C. has determined to produce a scholarly commentary on all the ancient religious texts in relation to the "Divine Law" propagated by Liber AL vel Legis.  The Rector of the Thelemic Ecclesia Gnostica Antigua (T.E.G.A.) has agreed to take on this task on behalf of the A.M.H.R.

5. Adding T.E.G.A. Rites to A.M.H.R. Canon

The G.E.C. has determined that T.E.G.A. should develop the Bishop Ordination to be adopted by the A.M.H.R.  Along with this, it is to develop the 'Twin Mass,' which will serve the A.M.H.R. as a study in polarity, while expressing the individual path of T.E.G.A.

6. Production of a volume of the Equinox

The G.E.C. has collectively decided to fund and produce a volume of the Equinox for the A.'.A.'. with production to commence with the Period of Speech, Vernal Equinox, AN CV (2009ev).  This will be made publicly accessible to the Internet with a private production being printed and distributed at cost.  Ten numbers were thematically layed-out and will be pursued privately during this Period of Silence.

7. Reconstructing A.O.M. Program

The G.E.C. has determined to re-draft the A.O.M. program in accord with the new Gnosis as revealed by DOzmt and I-Ged.  This will result in a new production of the Sepher Colloquium that will be issued privately.
